This is one of the best experiences I have ever had, not just skiing but in my 32 years. Ron the (owner/guide) Bob (guide) and ALL of the employees are the friendliest people and did an astounding job. Whether you are an intermediate skier or advance skier you will not be disappointed.
Starts off at 8:30 in the morning which is about a 30 minute drive to the property. Once you arrive they have breakfast, coffee, juices, snacks ect there awaiting your arrival. Once everyone is checked in they go over education and current conditions for the day. Once completed you get loaded up right away and off to a 30-45 minute ride onto the 42,000 acres of private property where everyone in the group introduces themselves and gets to know one another. When we arrived to the first stop the views and acreage was unbelievable. You would never think the terrain up there even existed. Huge mountain bowls everywhere you look. Every single run we skied was untracked powder. We took about 4 runs and stopped for about 30 min where they served lunch for all of us in the back country. They supplied everyone with gourmet sandwiches, amazing soups that were brought up from a local restaurant, chips, sodas, waters, granola bars and the list goes on and on. We ended up skiing 11 runs of the best snow I have skied in my life. I have been skiing for 28 years and have never experienced a day like this before in my life. It was amazing how once we all made a run the cat was either waiting for us at the bottom or was there within a few minutes. These guys/gals at PC Powder Cats have got this down! At the end of the day which was very depressing they had more snacks and drinks there awaiting us.
I am planning to buy their 3 pack sale they do in August and encouraging all of my friends/family to do the same so we can all experience it together. Words cannot express how thankful I am that a gem like this is so close to us. I would plan several trips here per year even if I lived in another state. People talk about the cat rides they do at ski resorts but there is absolutely no comparison in my opinion. I highly recommend anyone even thinking about it to go do it and bring everyone you know and I know you will not be disappointed. Anyways I can go on and on and will get some pics posted from our day. Thanks again PC Powder Cats YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
Forgot to mention the terrain you ski that day is based off the level of the skiers in each cat so make sure to fill it up.
